Sabes Pro is designed around a strict local-first architecture built to protect your privacy. Your DAW session files, audio stems, and project history remain strictly stored on your workstation.

1. Core Local-First Data Architecture

All file monitoring, snapshot creation, LUFS loudness analysis, and AES-256-GCM encryption occur entirely on your local machine. Sabes Pro does not upload audio files, session tracks, or project content to central cloud servers.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Registration & Authentication: When you register an account, we collect your email address, bcrypt-hashed password, legal capacity acknowledgment, and account verification status.
• Session & Device Security Metadata: To protect your account against unauthorized access, we collect session security metadata including device name/operating system (from User-Agent), IP address, and active refresh token timestamps. Users can view and remotely revoke active sessions anytime in their Account Dashboard.
• Support & Diagnostic Communications: When you email [email protected] or submit an in-app feedback/diagnostic bundle, we collect your message content and technical environment logs to resolve inquiries.
• Billing & Checkout Data: Payments, receipts, and VAT/sales tax compliance are processed securely by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as Merchant of Record for all software sales. We never store or process raw credit card numbers.

3. Data Retention, Erasure & Self-Service GDPR Export

You maintain full control over your data. Local DAW project snapshots, Take history, and audio files remain 100% locally stored on your computer and are never deleted or altered. Through your online Account Dashboard, you can download a complete, real-time export of your personal profile, active sessions, and license metadata in standard JSON format (GDPR Data Export) or request account deletion at any time.

4. Google User Data & OAuth Limited Use Policy

When you sign in using Google OAuth or enable Google Drive integration with Sabes Pro, our application requests access strictly limited to authenticating your identity, verifying active license entitlements, and enabling user-directed backup synchronization of encrypted project snapshots to your personal Google Drive storage.

Sabes Pro strictly complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Google user data is never shared, transferred, sold, or used for advertising, marketing profiling, or AI model training.

5. Third-Party Disclosure Exclusions

Sabes Pro does not sell, rent, monetize, or trade user data or support communications with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

6. International Data Transfers

Account authentication, transactional email delivery, and merchant billing transactions (via Paddle) are processed globally using encrypted TLS connections through verified service providers operating under strict privacy safeguards.

7. GDPR & Global Privacy Compliance Statement

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and global privacy laws, you maintain rights of access, data portability, rectification, restriction, and erasure. 8. CCPA / CPRA Privacy Notice

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents are advised that Sabes Pro does not sell personal information or audio assets to third parties.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs subscription purchases for paid Sabes Pro tiers (Plus and Studio).

1. Merchant Reseller & Order Processing

All software sales, subscription renewals, tax compliance, and order receipts for Sabes Pro are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who serves as the merchant reseller for our products.

2. Free Tier Pre-Purchase Evaluation & All Sales Final Policy

Sabes Pro provides a generous, fully functional Free tier specifically designed to allow users to evaluate software features, session monitoring, and system compatibility on their workstation prior to upgrading. Because users have full opportunity to test the software for free before making a purchase, all subscription sales for paid tiers (Plus and Studio) are final and non-refundable once processed.

3. Narrow Exceptions & Billing Disputes

Refunds are evaluated for exceptional issues like accidental duplicate charges or checkout errors. If a duplicate charge occurs, reach out to [email protected] within 7 days with your order details, or manage your transaction directly via Paddle's buyer portal at paddle.net.

4. Subscription Renewal Cancellation Procedure

You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time through the customer portal link in your email receipt. Upon cancellation, your paid plan benefits remain active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account smoothly transitions back to the Free tier.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding legal contract between you ("Licensee") and Sabes Pro governing the installation and execution of the Sabes Pro software.

1. Grant of License

Subject to compliance with this EULA, Sabes Pro grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and execute the compiled binary software on supported 64-bit Windows operating systems.

2. License Tiers & Deployment Scope

• Free Tier: Personal license for individual audio version tracking on a single primary workstation.
• Plus Tier: Individual professional license for personal studio workstations managed by a single licensed user.
• Studio Tier: Multi-seat commercial license for audio production facilities and team studio workstations.
• Lifetime Plus Tier: Single-user permanent license for audio production with Plus tier features and lifetime updates.

3. License Restrictions

You shall not, directly or indirectly: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the compiled application; (b) modify, translate, or create derivative works; (c) rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or distribute license keys; or (d) bypass license verification routines.

4. Software Updates & Version Maintenance

We may periodically issue software updates, bug fixes, or performance patches. Updates are provided automatically or on-demand to maintain application security and DAW file system compatibility.

5. Account Suspension, License Revocation & Appeals

Sabes Pro reserves the right to suspend account authentication or shared storage proxy access if an account engages in severe Terms of Service violations. In all cases, your local DAW project files, Take history, and local backup repositories remain 100% untouched and accessible on your computer.

6. Limited Warranty & Technical Disclaimers

Sabes Pro is licensed "as is". We express no warranty that the software will meet specific studio requirements or operate without interruption on all hardware configurations.

Sabes Pro is engineered around a zero-knowledge local security model to protect audio stems and project metadata.

1. Local Encrypted Repository Architecture

All project snapshots and Take repository data are encrypted locally at rest using industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption. Master keys are derived locally using Argon2id key derivation, creating a secure encryption boundary directly on your machine.

2. Zero-Knowledge Key Management & Data Isolation

Sabes Pro operates with zero-knowledge key isolation. Master passphrases and encryption keys never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

3. Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS) End-to-End Encryption

When optional cloud synchronization is configured (AWS S3, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, or SFTP), repository snapshot blocks are encrypted locally before transmission. Cloud providers receive only encrypted cipher-text block files.

4. Snapshot Data Retention & Local Pruning

You maintain full authority over local repository retention rules. Unpinned snapshot history can be automatically or manually pruned to reclaim local disk space.

This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") applies to commercial studio subscribers processing personal data in connection with Sabes Pro services.

1. Scope & Applicability

This DPA governs the processing of personal data in accordance with European Union (GDPR), UK, and international data protection regulations.

2. Technical & Organizational Security Measures

Sabes Pro enforces strict security controls including local AES-256-GCM encryption, zero-knowledge key derivation, TLS 1.3 transport security, and restricted support ticket access.

3. Verified Subprocessors

Verified third-party subprocessors include Paddle (Merchant of Record and checkout payments), Resend Inc. (transactional notifications), and user-configured BYOS cloud storage providers (AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Cloudflare R2, or SFTP servers).

This Acceptable Use Policy defines rules of conduct for using Sabes Pro desktop applications, support channels, and BYOS cloud synchronization.

1. Authorized Usage

Sabes Pro is licensed exclusively for legitimate DAW session version management, mix verification, project backup, and disaster recovery. Usage must comply with all local laws and copyright regulations.

2. Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from compiled binaries.
• Bypassing, cracking, or tampering with software license key validation mechanisms.
• Using BYOS synchronization features to store or transmit illegal content, malware, or pirated audio software.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing license keys to unauthorized third parties.

Support covers assistance with application installation, snapshot engine troubleshooting, software bug resolution, license key activation, and BYOS cloud setup guidance.
